Super team in the escape room

Escape rooms put people to the test in many ways. This is very good because it is a guarantee that we will have an exciting game. Diverse tasks, on the other hand, require skills that are only rarely present in one player only.

Escape rooms put people to the test in many ways. This is very good because it is a guarantee that we will have an exciting game. Diverse tasks, on the other hand, require skills that are only rarely present in one player only

The escape game is therefore a team activity in which the key question is what kind of peers you will immerse yourself in the adventures with. Teamwork is also needed to get the tasks done on time: you are much faster if you split them.

Everybody is good in something else

The ideal team, like the game, is diverse. As in a well-functioning workplace, the secret to success here is to give everyone the tasks where they can make the most of their skills. Everyone is good at something else and can therefore contribute to solving different tasks. Most of the time, groups of friends or colleagues come in to play, so members know each other’s strengths and weaknesses.

Entering the escape room, however, the world is still turning on top of its head. The puzzles are different from those we encounter in our everyday life. So many times, we get to know a side of our peers that we have not noticed before. It is especially interesting to see our friends and acquaintances this way.

Team Roles

Just as no two gameplays are alike, no two companies are alike. That is why there is no proven secret recipe for putting together a team either. However, there are positions and roles that will almost certainly develop in your team.

The boss

Like it or not, no team can be successful without a good leader. Not even during the game. It is no different in escape games either. We need a person who can bring players together and put them in good directions. It is important that you communicate well and that others listen to you, as it will be your job to coordinate the activities of the team members.

The explorer

Not only the devil, but also the key to the puzzles of the escape rooms lies in the details. Therefore, there is someone in every successful team who will notice the smallest details, even the faintest trace. This is how the big picture will come together, which means the solution.

The brain of the team

It is not enough to find the clues, but also to interpret and systematize them. A player who is able to do this therefore has a very important role to play. It is essential that you see the connections and be able to come up with more and more ideas all the time. One of these will bring the whole team to success.

The humor bomb

He or she is the one without whom it is not worth entering the escape room. He may not even help anything in solving the tasks or contribute to success. However, keep in mind that we are about to play and not to struggle. So take someone with you who will not lose his sense of humor even in the most stressful moments and is always able to cheer up his peers.

Why You Should Try Gamification In Recruitment
In 2004, Google set up a series of billboards which featured a mathematical riddle. And it was one of the first examples of how gamification could be used in recruitment. Everybody who saw the billboard was invited to solve a number of equations. The idea behind this was that those who had the motivation and brain power to complete the exercise would, in turn, make great candidates for employment

Escape Rooms: Working with Ambiguity
Over the last couple of years we have seen a huge rise in the number of corporate escape room games being played. More often than not, these can be labelled as “team building exercises.” One thing we noticed after a agame, when the team players are being interviewed, they often mentioned that the escape room scenario allows them to feel vulnerable but without any associated stigma.
